Will there be any music entertainment in the hotel restaurant?

Not at this time. If that changes, we will update the schedule to include restaurant entertainment.

What is the hotel’s cancellation policy?

We are working on making that information available to you and will update as soon as we have it. Until then, you are free to call the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa at 866-440-3375 to discuss their policy. 

I need to make changes to my hotel reservation. Can you help with that?

Any reservation changes will need to be handled by the hotel directly. Please contact them at 866-440-3375.

How to I book a Hotel Room?

You do have the option of contacting the hotel, but to get our event rates, you must mention “19th Annual Newport Beach Jazz Party.” 866-440-3375

Can I pay you for the room?

No. All hotel payments are collected by the Newport Beach Marriott at the conclusion of your stay. We do not, and will not, accept any payments on behalf of the hotel.

I purchased tickets, but an emergency came up and I can’t go. Can I get a refund?

If you need to cancel, we will refund 100% of the purchase minus the 4% event processing fee. We understand that emergencies arise, but we request you cancel early enough so that we may offer your seat to another person.

Why am I getting charged an event processing fee? This wasn’t done in the past.

To offer a safe and secure transaction process, we are now accepting credit cards via Square and Etix. This process comes with a minimal event processing fee. If you would like to avoid the event fee, you are free to mail us a check to cover the payment of the event.

I would like to send a check to pay for my ticket. What is your address?

Once one of our team members has confirmed that the seat(s) you are requesting is available, and the total cost is provided, you can mail a check to:

I would like to keep the same seats as 2018. When can I pay for them?

If you purchased a Patron Package in 2018, you can pay for the same seats now. You can fill out the ticket form online, email info@newportbeachjazzparty.com, or call us directly at (949) 205-1252. Someone will get back to you between the hours of 9am and 5pm PST, Monday through Friday to assist with purchasing your tickets.

I didn’t attend in 2018. When can I purchase tickets?

We do not have an exact date at this time, but we are looking at non-2018 patron seats going on sale early August 2018. We have teamed with a service, Etix, that will allow you to go online and choose one or more of our currently available seats to purchase.

What if I don’t like any of the currently available seats? Will there be other seats available?

Most likely. While we hope that all of the Patrons that attended in 2018 will come back, the reality is that some may not attend in 2019 for various reasons. We will be reviewing the seating chart in December 2018 and release any non-purchased Patron tickets to our ticketing service, Etix. They will then open the newly available seats on January 1, 2019 to be purchased by the public.

I would like to upgrade to closer/more-centered table and/or seats. When can I do that?

Currently, are reserving the Patron Package seats you had when you attended in February 2018. Upon receiving your request, we will review the seats not occupied by patrons for the 2018 event and discuss what is available. If any of those options are less than optimal for you, we will place you on our First come, first served upgrade list. This list will be reviewed in late December 2018, where we will attempt to accommodate your request. You will then have the option to keep the same seats or switch to new seats, if available.
